Reading term 2 In reading this week I read the book 'wet' on the Reading Eggspress App. I used the read -back function. Something I learned was that hippopotamuses open their mouths to scare away predators. I passed all of the comprehension tests. I needed to re-read all of the chapters to pass.

Yesterday the class went to the Waka. Our whole class went there and our parents. We went down by the Clive River. First the class learned all the movements to go on the Waka. We went over the rolls and then we finally went on the boat. It was amazing. I loved the Waka.
In writing we are learning to write recounts.
